Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions and solutions to frequently encountered issues below.

General

What information should I provide when contacting support?

To help us investigate your issue efficiently, please include as much of the following information as possible:

  • The name of the affected product.
  • The store from which the product was purchased.
  • Your platform: PC, Xbox, or PlayStation 5.
  • Your simulator version.
  • The installed version of the product.
  • A clear description of the issue and the steps required to reproduce it.
  • Any troubleshooting steps you have already attempted.
  • Screenshots, videos, or error messages, when relevant.

Please avoid sending only a brief description such as “the aircraft does not work” as this does not provide enough information to identify the cause of the issue.

Are products purchased from different stores identical?

Yes. The core product and its main features are identical regardless of the store from which it was purchased.

However, the products with functional weapons will need an additional patch to be installed if you bought the product on Microsoft Marketplace.

Can I transfer a purchase from one store to another?

No. Purchases cannot be transferred between stores.

Each store manages its own customer accounts, payments, and downloads independently. A product purchased from one store cannot therefore be activated or downloaded from another store.

How do I use the functional weapons on my aircraft?

Some of our aircraft, including the Rafale and Jaguar, support functional weapons.

However, Microsoft Marketplace policies do not allow products to be distributed with functional weapons enabled. You must therefore install a separate patch, available from the resources section of our website.

Why do the functional weapons not work on Xbox or PlayStation 5?

Functional weapons are unfortunately not available on consoles.

Console users can only install content distributed through the Microsoft Marketplace, whose policies do not allow functional weapons to be included.

Will your future projects be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020?

AzurPoly no longer develops new products for MSFS 2020. Most users have now transitioned to MSFS 2024, and the technical differences between the two platforms have become too significant to support both versions effectively.

However, all our existing MSFS 2020 products are compatible with MSFS 2024.

Installation and updates

How do I know which version of the product is installed?

You can check the installed product version from the Content Manager in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Search for the product, open its package information, and check the version number displayed by the simulator.

You can then compare this number with the latest version listed in the product changelog or on the store from which the product was purchased.

My product does not appear in the simulator. What should I check?

In some cases, products may not be installed correctly or may not be properly detected by the simulator.

First, try uninstalling and reinstalling the product.

Then, open the Content Manager in Microsoft Flight Simulator and search for the product. Make sure that the package is detected, installed, and enabled.

How can I make sure my product is up to date?

Instructions for installing, updating, and uninstalling products are available on the welcome page.

Controls

Why do controls activate by themselves during a flight? My spoilers deploy alone or the APU starts unexpectedly.

If controls appear to activate without input, the most likely cause is a control binding in the simulator.

The simulator often assigns default bindings to flight controls. The same command may also be assigned to several buttons, axes, or connected devices, causing it to trigger unintentionally.

Check the controls options for each connected device, search for the affected command, and remove any unwanted or duplicate bindings.

Performance and compatibility

Are your products compatible with the latest simulator beta version?

Our products are developed and tested against the latest public release of Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 and 2024).

Simulator beta versions may introduce unfinished changes, temporary regressions, or compatibility issues that are outside our control. We therefore cannot guarantee full compatibility with beta builds or provide official support for issues that occur exclusively while using them.

If you experience an issue on a beta version, please check whether it also occurs on the latest public simulator release before contacting support.

The Rafale crashes the simulator after an update or does not work at all. What should I do?

Because the Rafale systems rely on WASM technology, the simulator may occasionally retain outdated cached files after an update. Manually clearing the Rafale WASM cache may resolve the issue.

  1. Close Microsoft Flight Simulator if it is currently running.

  2. Open the appropriate MSFS 2024 WASM folder for your installation.

Microsoft Store version

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2024\azurpoly-aircraft-rafale-c

Steam version

%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2024\azurpoly-aircraft-rafale-c
  1. Delete all files and folders contained inside the azurpoly-aircraft-rafale-c folder.

  2. Restart MSFS 2024. The required WASM files will be regenerated automatically.
