IMC
Description
The IMC monitors the main engine parameters and the fuel supply status.
It is located on the main panel, and its brightness is adjusted using the IMC Brightness Knob.
Fuel
The upper section displays fuel-related information:
FEEDERS: the quantity of fuel, in kilograms, remaining in the left and right feeder tanks. Each value is displayed beside a vertical gauge indicating the corresponding tank level.TOTAL: the total fuel quantity, in kilograms.FUEL FLOW: the combined fuel flow of both engines, in kilograms per minute.
A line between the two feeder tank gauges indicates whether the Feed Tanks Crossfeed Valve is open or closed.
When the fuel quantity in either feeder tank falls below 250 litres, its readout and gauge are highlighted to warn the pilot of the low fuel level.
Engine and de-icing
The lower section displays the N2 rotational speed of each engine as a percentage. The value is replaced by dashes when the corresponding engine is stopped.
The display also indicates specific engine conditions:
- A yellow border appears around the N2 value when the afterburner is active.
- The value turns red if the turbine temperature exceeds its limit of approximately 1,180 K.
A blue circle appears in the centre of the display when the ice protection system is active.
